What does a Compass & Fable advisor actually do?

You handle the research, bookings, logistics, and customization, using your industry know-how to filter the noise and craft purposeful, story-worthy adventures. You shoulder the friction, so your clients simply get to be present—and surprised.
Do I need prior travel industry experience?
Professional travel background is not required—curiosity, a keen sense of adventure, and firsthand travel experience are. We provide specialized, hands-on training for all our systems, platforms, and preferred suppliers. Bring your passion for transformative journeys and an eye for crafting meaningful details—we’ll provide the toolkit to turn it into impact for your clients.

Absolutely. As an independent advisor, your “office” is anywhere with a reliable connection. Through remote work, you can infuse your practice with fresh perspectives and first-hand inspiration.

How do I earn income?
You earn tiered commissions on every travel experience you design—hotels, cruises, adventure tours, luxury escapes, and immersive cultural journeys. Your client base will build as you continue working with clients.
What’s the commission structure?
Our commission model is competitive, transparent, and rewards your progress. Our company has partnerships with several industry organizations, and we are rewarded with high commission tiers. Your path to increased commission will be discussed during your onboarding with clear goals for bookings and commissions. Commissions are paid weekly, after they are received by the company via direct deposit.
Are there start-up or ongoing fees?
There are monthly fees for our systems. As an independent agent, you will be responsible for the tools to navigate your business. These fees are low, paid directly to our vendor partners and are for your access only—kept intentionally accessible for committed professionals. We’re happy to lay out all details up-front in your discovery call so there are never surprises.
Training & Support
What kind of training will I get?
Expect hands-on onboarding, guided supplier certifications, exclusive content from Compass & Fable and personal mentorship from the agency owner. You’ll master both the logistics of seamless booking and the art of marketing your high-touch boutique service.
Do you provide leads?
Most new clients will come from your network and connections, with full agency resources and branded assets to support authentic growth. Occasionally, high-potential inquiries funnel through our brand—we share these equitably and transparently.
Is there a team community?
